使用GMRC建材建造，並導入續動能發電續儲系統自給自足
曾參與上海與加州迪士尼城堡建設工作的環球國際文創公司董事長簡廷在認為，ESG是絕對要跟上的趨勢，因此，希望藉由其打造的「ESG未來城」，大力在台推動屬於無煙囪的文化科技產業。他表示，ESG未來城不僅會用更加環保的GMRC建材建造，還會導入「續動能發電續儲系統」，做到電力自給自足。
簡廷在過去參與澳門威尼斯人酒店、香港迪士尼及海洋公園、新加坡環球影城等多項知名建案，這幾年，響應政府鮭魚返鄉政策，與11位台商回台成立環球國際，希望在台打造ESG未來城，成為國際知名觀光景點。
簡廷在表示，ESG未來城規劃出三大區域，包括擁有學校、住宅以及適合養老的生活區，內建酒店、青創大樓、百貨公司商業街等的商業區，以及擁有展示與體驗元宇宙、區塊鏈等科技功能的文化創意園區。
他還說，近期注意到聯合國氣候變遷大會（COP 27）上提到的「漂綠」問題，覺得企業不應該只是用「買綠電」達成環保目標，卻依舊繼續「大幅排碳」，因此，決定將續動能發電續儲系統導入未來城。
據簡廷在介紹，續動能發電續儲系統「是利用電池給予一個小動力，就可以持續自行運轉發電，並回充到電池的系統」，理想狀況是，之後未來城所有的電力都將由該系統提供，如果有多餘的電力，再轉賣給其他企業。
與此同時，簡廷在說，未來城都將用「GMRC循環再生特殊永續材料」打造。據他介紹，GMRC具有壽命長、防污、耐候性佳、隔熟、抗彎、抗壓、可塑性超靈活等特點，可以任意發揮創意塑型，做成「看似竹筒而不是竹筒、看似木頭而不是木頭、看似石頭而不是石頭，但是比木頭石頭還要耐用的環保建材」，還「不燃不腐」。
簡廷在強調，GMRC也可使大板帷幕施工安裝更簡便，減少傳統的建築工序，如板模、綁鋼筋、灌水泥漿、折板模、批水泥層、貼磁磚、鷹架等，促進「建築廠業化」，省下巨大成本。
該技術已獲多個先進國家使用，過去簡廷在也曾用於加州與上海迪士尼等知名工程。他呼籲，建商需提前導入ESG綠能永續新建材、新技術，一起推動環境永續、社會責任及公司治理。
